90 Day Fiance: Tyray Mollett Hesitant about Being on Show
Tyray Mollett decided to join the show after watching other couples go through the same situation he was going through. However, little did he know that his story would be completely different. Early on in filming, the production tells him that Carmella, the lady he has been talking to over social media, has been catfishing him.

The 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days reality star felt that the show could help him go in the right decision. He had hopes that production would be able to get him closer to meeting Carmella. But, instead, they found out the person in the pictures wasn’t the person he’s been talking to.
Tyray reveals that he did talk to Carmella about being on the show. He explains that the person behind the pictures was interested and even pushed him to do it. He didn’t want to do it because he is a private person.
Tyray’s Catfish Embarrasses Him
Tyray now feels that the person pretending to be Carmella had the intention of embarrassing him. He thinks that the person wanted to play mind games with him. And it seems like the catfish got what they wanted.
When the 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days cast member saw the episode for the first time, he found it embarrassing. He didn’t want to accept that she was a catfish. But when he saw it on the show, he thought, “What was I thinking?” At one point, he even thought the production crew was pranking him.
Tyray feels like he set himself up to be catfished. He admits that he was being “too passive” and didn’t stand up for himself. The TLC celeb reveals that he would never speak his mind. He didn’t question the person when he felt that something was off. He even laughs at all the memes and comments he sees about himself online.

Tyray Mollett still had hopes that Carmella was real even after production told him she was a catfish. He thought she had cold feet or was afraid to meet him. He also thought they could have been “joking around.”
The 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days cast member didn’t stop filming because he felt that the production team had the resources to get him the answers from Carmella. He also thought that it would prove to the person behind the photos that they weren’t able to mess with him “mentally.” He wanted the catfish to know that he persevered.
However, when Tyray heard the catfish’s voice, he had to walk away. He didn’t want to hear what that person had to say about him. It also wasn’t a good feeling knowing he sent naughty photos to a man.
