Former ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Star Dina Manzo Acquires Lavish California Mansion for $16 Million

‘RHONJ’ Alum Dina Manzo Splurges $16 Million on Luxurious California Mansion
Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo and her husband, Dave Cantin, recently made a hefty investment in a California estate worth $16 million. The property, described as “Montecito’s most coveted offering” in its listing, was confirmed to be purchased for just under $16 million through public records. The Tuscan style house, built in 1994, was previously sold for $4.8 million in late 2020. The buyer, Lin Snider, who is the widow of the late Philadelphia billionaire Ed Snyder, enlisted architect Marc Appleton to transform the home into a stunning contemporary masterpiece.

The villa-style home spans 6000 square feet and boasts a modern kitchen, a master suite with an ocean view, fireplace, private balcony, and marble bathroom. Additionally, there are three bedrooms on the upper level and a maid’s quarters on the first floor. The outdoor space features expansive patios shaded by olive trees, a pool and spa, and a sprawling grassy lawn. Dina and Dave divide their time between California and the East Coast, as they also own a home in San Juan Capistrano, California, and a condo in Florida.

Dina, a close friend of RHONJ star Teresa Giudice, recently appeared on the “Scan My Brain” podcast with Daniel Amen MD, where she discussed her decision to leave the world of reality TV after appearing on the show for two seasons. She expressed that she was the first Housewives series cast member to quit and leave, emphasizing the importance of finding peace. While some Bravo Housewives thrive on chaos and drama, Dina admitted it wasn’t her cup of tea, as she had witnessed firsthand how it changed people. Despite their estrangement, Dina and her sister Caroline Manzo, a former RHONJ cast member, once had a strong relationship.

Dina made headlines last year when she opted out of attending Teresa and her then-fiancé Luis Ruelas’ extravagant Garden State wedding. In July 2022, it was reported that Teresa had no issue with Dina’s decision and respected her wishes. Rumors circulated speculating that a rift between Cantin and Ruelas was the reason behind Dina’s absence, but sources denied this, highlighting that the men still followed each other on social media. The insider clarified that Dina’s desire to avoid cameras was the main reason for her absence.

Teresa confirmed that Dina did not want to be filmed at the lavish event, which was later condensed into a one-episode special for Bravo. Dina and her husband were present when Luis proposed to Teresa during a group trip to Greece in October 2021.
