Additional Platforms Confirmed for Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica

Atlus has announced that Persona 3 Reload will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. The game was previously announced as coming to Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC via Windows during Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase, but it will not be available on Nintendo Switch.

Persona 3 Reload is a remake of the popular Persona 3 game and will feature updated combat and graphics that resemble Persona 5, as well as enhanced audio with new English voiceover. However, it will not include additional content from Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable, such as the female protagonist.

Producer Ryota Niitsuma and chief director Kazuhisa Wada confirmed in an interview with IGN that Persona 3 Reload will only include content from the original Persona 3. “We wanted to really genuinely work on recreating the Persona 3 experience,” said Niitsuma.

Persona 3 originally released on the PlayStation 2 in 2006. Persona 3 FES is a 2007 add-on disc with updates to the original game, while Persona 3 Portable is a PSP release that added features like directly controlling party members beyond the main character.

Persona 5 Tactica, a new tactical RPG spin-off featuring characters from Persona 5, will be released on November 17, 2023, on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PC via Windows and Steam, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
