Blizzard is commemorating the first anniversary of Diablo Immortal (Free) this week with a plethora of novel content and features that are set to be added to the free-to-play game. This update is going to concentrate on a new area that boasts its own questline, side quests, open world PvP event, new abilities, the higher Hell difficulties, and a lot more. All of these updates are slated to begin on June 15th. Additionally, every class will acquire an additional skill that unlocks at level 53. The update, entitled “Destruction’s Wake,” will introduce new servers too. The maintenance for the update will go live on June 14, from 5 PM to 7 PM PDT for Oceania, China, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe Servers, and on June 15, from 1 AM to 3 AM PDT for servers in the Americas.
Blizzard has stated that this update is a tribute to the co-creators of Sanctuary, Lilith and Inarius. The full patch notes for the immense Diablo Immortal anniversary update can be viewed here. This being the fourth significant update, multiple enhancements and modifications are set to occur in the game, and it is reassuring to see that Diablo Immortal is still receiving extensive support. With the release of Diablo IV, it will definitely be interesting to see how Blizzard is going to handle possible collaborations between the two games. As for me, I absolutely adore Diablo IV, and if you haven’t already, you can read my Diablo IV Steam Deck review covering getting it to run and more here. Are you a regular player of Diablo Immortal and if so, are you excited about the upcoming anniversary update later this week?
