I was surprised to see Insomniac make an appearance at the Summer Games Fest to discuss Spider-Man 2 after recently showcasing an extensive gameplay trailer at the Playstation Showcase.
During the segment, a few hints were dropped about the game, such as the inclusion of more villains other than Kraven and Venom, the possibility of seeing other heroes, and this version of Venom not being linked to Eddie Brock.
However, the most significant reveal was the launch date of Spider-Man 2 for PS5, which is set for October 20th, 2023. I’m surprised they didn’t announce the date at the Playstation Showcase.
I am so excited for this game!
